You do not have to live near our office to receive care. When telehealth is legally permitted and clinically appropriate, you can complete a live visit from anywhere in North Carolina.
The important part: you must be physically located in North Carolina when care is provided.
How statewide care works

Complete the intake and schedule the appropriate testing or evaluation. The fee covers clinical services, not a guaranteed prescription.

Complete testing
For TRT, complete the required lab work at our Beulaville office or through the designated lab process available to you.

Meet by secure video
A live visit covers your identity, current location, medical history, symptoms, results, medications, risks, and treatment options.
- 04
Follow the clinical plan
If treatment is prescribed, eligible medication may be fulfilled through the applicable pharmacy process. Follow-up and monitoring continue on schedule.
The practical details
What can happen remotely—and what cannot
Telehealth is a way to deliver care. It does not lower the clinical standard or remove the provider's responsibility to evaluate you properly.
Laboratory testing
Testing can often be completed close to home through our designated process. We will explain the location, included testing, and any separate cost before you proceed.
Pharmacy coordination
If medication is prescribed, a licensed pharmacy handles dispensing and any delivery arrangements. Availability, timing, and any separate pharmacy or delivery fees are explained before you proceed.
In-person care
Some symptoms, examination findings, lab results, complications, or legal requirements may make additional testing or an in-person visit necessary.

Before your visit
Can testosterone be prescribed through telehealth?
Testosterone may be prescribed through telehealth when legally permitted and clinically appropriate. A live clinical evaluation is required. Some patients may need additional testing or an in-person examination.
Can I take the visit while traveling outside North Carolina?
No. You must be physically located in North Carolina when TRT-NC provides care. Your provider will verify your location at the visit.
Does paying for an evaluation mean I will receive medication?
No. Payment covers the evaluation and related clinical services. It does not guarantee a prescription, medication, formulation, or dose.
